Live Like Your Dying

One of my favorite outfits on the blog yet— This adorable romper is SO flattering and perfect for any summer occasion. It was a complete steal for only $45!! The neckline is my favorite part of the romper, and it is surprisingly comfortable. Tye Die has become a major trend this summer and I am definitely a fan of it. I paired the romper with my favorite pair of shoes, that I happily received last week in the mail!! They are available at Nordstrom, and they are a complete must have. I have never gotten so many compliments on a pair of shoes when I leave the house with these babies on. I highly suggest you invest in some :) Another summer trend I have been loving is the low, curly pony-tail. It goes perfectly with a high-neck romper, dress, you name it, simply so that you are able to show off your stunning neckline.

Pineapple Paradise

Hello pretty ladies!! This week in St. Michaels, I did a lot of walking, sightseeing, and shopping downtown in the CUTEST town ever. I wore this adorable simple little outfit while shopping on a blistering hot day, and it was a hit. The top is from Lilly Pulitzer, which a friend of mine snagged at the Target sale the day it was released!! It is patterned with pineapples, so how could I not love it?! It is very shear and lightweight, and perfect for a hot summer day. My white Hudson shorts are also a go-to for a hot summer day, and I highly recommend them. They are stretchy which makes them comfortable all day long, even when you’re walking for hours upon hours. You can find them in the link list below :) Seen in a previous post, my Tory Burch sandals seem to be the item I am always grabbing on my way out the door. They are so comfortable and match with almost anything.

Rain, Rain, Go Away

Even though it's a rainy day here, there is no excuse for not looking fabulous!! (even though sweatpants were calling my name) In Wilmington it tends to rain...a lot. Unexpectedly. All the time. So I guess you can say I have a lot of outfits picked out just in case. Today I decided to throw on a simple white lightweight shirt, which I purchased from Express. I paired my easy white shirt with some cute, ripped denim shorts. Now..For every fashion obsessed girl like me, Hunter boots are an absolute necessity. My black hunter boots complete every rainy day outfit, plus they serve as the perfect boots for the winter!! If you don't have a pair I strongly suggest purchasing some!! They have tons of different colors to choose from. My pastel, patchwork umbrella came from Vineyard Vines, which I also linked below!!

4th of July Ready

With the 4th of July approaching, we all have been thinking about the perfect outfit to wear. As American flags fly, fireworks light up the sky, and red, white and blue seem to take over the streets, we show just how much we love this country. So, why not look cute while celebrating?! One of my outfit ideas for the 4th is cute and casual. I found this patriotic top at Forever 21 a couple of years ago for 14 dollars (a complete steal) and absolutely adore it! It is so comfortable and is cute year round- not just for the holiday. I paired my top with my favorite pair of Hudson Jean shorts. They are my go-to shorts for any occasion... I can't seem to ever take them off!! Now ladies, if you own a pair of white Converse, this is your day!! These babies will go with any casual 4th of July outfit you put together. Whether its pairing them with shorts, pants, or even a cute simple dress, they will for sure look amazing. If you are looking through your closet and can't seem to find anything to wear, have no fear-- I linked a ton of cute ideas for you. If you live near an Old Navy, I can assure you, you will find something to rock on Independence day!! I have linked some options below if you don't believe me

Think Pink

It seems as if every time I walk into a boutique or store, a certain section seems to be calling my name... the rack with all of the pink!!! This summer, pink has taken over my closet. It's the perfect color to show off the great tan you've been working so hard for,  to make you stand out in a crowd, and more. The dress i'm wearing above is from one of my favorite boutiques in Wilmington, Island Passage. They have two amazing locations in Wilmington. One is located right near Wrightsville Beach in Lumina Station, and the other is located in downtown Wilmington. Stop in and see their adorable selection (not to mention they have great deals). Since Island Passage doesn't have their items on their website, I have linked 3 similar, adorable dresses below (All under $50!). I paired my hot pink dress with one of my absolute favorite necklaces from Stoned & Strung Jewelry (see link below!!). They have tons of cute jewelry to offer and they are handmade and shipped from Raleigh, NC. After checking out their Etsy account, follow them on Instagram: @stoned_and_strung_jewelry ---- you won't be disappointed! New on the blog are my Tory Burch Chandler Flat Sandals. Being an addict of gold jewelry, these gold and brown sandals match every outfit I wear. They're very comfortable to walk in and fit to size.

Smile of Palms

If you're looking for the perfect vacation spot, I can assure you; Isle of Palms is the place to be. For the past 3 summers, I have visited this amazing beach and have had such a great experience. The beaches aren't very crowded, the food around is to die for, and the houses could not be any cuter!! They even have their own Ben and Jerry's ice cream hut (that I happened to visit every day)!! This week I walked along the beach and saw the most breathtaking sunset. Im telling you, you have to go!!! Along my walk I noticed there were tons of sea turtle nests along the dunes. The only thing that would have made my experience better is if I got to see them break out of their shells and adventure out to sea! Isle of Palms is amazing; I recommend it for a fun family vacation, a weekend couples getaway, or even just for a day trip. AND its only 25 minutes outside of Charleston! Relaxing on the beach by day and shopping on Kings Street by night. Hope you get the chance to visit this cute little place one day!
